Monolith

Inspired by an early scene from Stanley Kubrick's epic '2001 A Space Odyssey' where an ominous piece of masonry is topped by a dramatic Lunar Eclipse. I wouldn't dare presume to explain or pontificate on the scene and it's meanings, but fans of the film can enjoy it's significance in their own way!

This was produced as part of Print Club London's Group Show.

It is a three colour screen print featuring a separate colour blend layer for the sky and the clouds. Each print will have a slightly different result as the colours are blended 'live' on the screen during printing.
